Just been reading this thread and even tho its a couple of months old now it brings back a smile and memories.
Did a ride a few weeks ago with a buddy. On the last leg home i wanted to screw the throttle to see how quick it was having never really been there. At the end of the straight i was a tad under 220 kph and buttoned off, my cobber arrived soon after on his Storm and we had a brief chat as we idled along...then a plain car policeman went past going the other way!! Talk about lucky!...Here in NZ you will loose your bike and your licence if caught over 140kph. ...That's the last time for me..its not worth losing everything i have put into her to loose it for that....(he said wisely!)
