Test rode a Rocket III standard on Saturday

Play in the risers?!? Then there is something wrong! There shouldn't be play in a riser no matter how tall they are.
I have Rivco's on my R3 and there is no difference in the "play" from the factory risers.
You might want to recheck your torque, sounds like something isn't right.

Gotta agree with that, I just finished installing the Rivcos on my 08 Standard and they are rock solid, no play whatsoever.

As a note, Daryl and Crazyman both ride R3Ts. A different part than the riser for the Standard/Classic. Mine moves a bit fore and aft as well.

You can't compare R3T risers with Std and Classic R3 risers. They are very different.

The Std and Classic R3 risers are solid.

I can't comment on the R3T but my guess is that Triumph tried to clone the Road King so much that they even included the wiggle-around handlebars.

Classic pull back bars will fit without the longer cables as I never changed mine. Now that I will be add reversed Rivco risers to the classic pull back bars to make room for a steering dampener I will have to change the cables but hey they are easy to change.
