meny different colours,

You still have the same thing going on......dirt under the cover rubbing your paintwork.

Any cover on the paintwork will eventually mar the finish plain and simple.

The only thing that cover will do is spread the rubbing all over the tank instead of making it localized.

RT,

I have several that I use quite often. I prefer the magnetic bags versus the other types. My favorite is the TourMaster bags.

They have big ceramic magnets and a soft, compliant fabric that is easy to pack a bunch of stuff in. I have one that rides on the tank and another that rides on the rear (no back seat).

I bought a big Cortech and wish that I hadn't. Way too stiff. They don't 'hang on' very well.

Those look pretty nice as well. Any issues with the paint? Do they hang on well? How much stuff can you get in one?

I have run them fully loaded without the windscreen on for day trips without any problems at all. I've never had any paint issues because I'm careful putting them on and taking them off. They don't move around at all.

I've run the bag fully loaded on the rear fender behind my big a$$ for 600 miles and didn't have a problem.

That's why I suggested the tourmaster.

Depending upon if you pack like a woman or not I can fit three days worth of clothes in it.

TwistedThrottle sells these in the U.S., but you can probably find a European distributer from this web site.

I was just looking at accessories on the Triumph site and noticed that they have magnetic tank bags. Has anyone tried to use a Triumph tank bag on their Rocket?

I bought mine at a shop in FLA several years ago and I'm still getting good service out of it. As I recall, it was @ $85.
