If you have a power commander and autotune there's a small led screen you can add that gives you your choice of I think 17 different readings, including rpm.
OP is asking where the ecu gets signal to feed tach. R3Ts don't. If he has a tach its aftermarket and wiring diagrams will be no help as don't know where hes picking up signal.
