2014 R3T de cat

Good day group, has anyone decatted a R3T cat box? Is it simply a removal and hollow out with a drill, or does the cat box need to be cut open and rewelded?

As I recall, that box is hollow. The cats are in the exhaust pipes.

Would you know what is needed to remove the cats from exhaust? Are they in the inlet, if so probably easy enough to drill

Others have likely done that, and will probably reply. I replaced the whole thing with Jardines.

The cat box is empty. Buy a crossover from Paul Bryant (Viking Exhaust) and replace it. You can do a search here for many posts about Paul and his exhaust building.

I don't think they can be drilled out easily. IIRC someone years ago posted that they used a very long drill bit and removed them from the exhaust end. And then there is this: Another Way to "Skin the CAT"
