Swapping Classic and regular Rocket seats

Hopefully this is an easy one. If you remove the seat of a regular Rocket, will the one piece classic seat snap back in it's place? If not, what do you need?

Does the bracket support much of anything? From your video it doesn't look like it. Seems like it just locates the seat and keeps it from twisting.
Would anyone have a bracket laying around that might be parted with?
