Supercharged 2.5L Rocket for sale.... in South Yorkshire

I think that's a bit steep. Take the blower out of the equation and the price is 20 grand for a four year old bike. Too much I reckon.
I think i'm right in saying, that the typical cost of the supercharger install complete with all the engine internals, labour costs & dyno work to set it all up properly, is about 15k.
Might be a bit lower cost now, due to there having been more development work done and general streamlining of getting the kits made etc...
So, I think the price isn't too far off the mark when you taking into account of the bike being a limited edition TFC model.

My concern would be how much hammer the bike has had in the hands of all the 'test riders' ........

Yes, I'd rather pay to have my own bike supercharged from scratch than buy an unknown bike that someone else has had done. Maintenance and servicing is crucial afterwards as well.
You wonder why someone would spend all that money and then sell it with so little mileage. From what I've read and seen on reviews, supercharged Rockets are perfectly rideable. You don't have to use all 300 bhp all the time. Could be personal circumstances or financial reason I suppose, but I'd have given the bike more of a chance than that.

I don't disagree with you. Your reasoning makes perfect sense to me.
Not everyone thinks like us.
I reckon there are many folks out there who 'want it all now' and would buy a bike just like that one, for speed and simplicity at the point of sale.
I mean, lets face it, there probably isn't another one out there for sale anywhere in the world right now.

Me reckons:
1) This bike has proven it runs well, likely any build bugs have been worked out and fine tuned.
2) Having it done by someone else or myself is a large unknown regarding the final results.
3) I would reckon cost would be lees on the proven build than to do everything to my own bike.
Just sayin' . . . . .
