Summer in February

Another great ride in the middle of winter.
I finished putting my Rocket back together on Thursday, February 16th. Friday the 17th I took my bike for a shakedown cruise. Everything worked great. The new LEDs were bright and looked good. The new fairing was fine along with the stereo sounding fantastic. I replaced the gas tank, including rehooking up the speedometer, odometer and clock. I even rewired the lighting circuits. Everything truly was fantastic. But the coolest part is I have rode my motorcycle over 200 miles each of the last 4 days... IN FEBRUARY ! IN Michigan

I'm just lucky living here in San Diego, I was out a couple of weeks back and it hit 87 Degrees, storm just passing through so it should be back to normal 75 degrees for this time of year pretty soon. Hey, don't hate me because I'm beautiful...

I'm just lucky living here in San Diego, I was out a couple of weeks back and it hit 87 Degrees, storm just passing through so it should be back to normal 75 degrees for this time of year pretty soon. Hey, don't hate me because I'm beautiful...

Today was beautiful on Cape Cod. My wife and two sons took a 70 plus mile ride, stopped at a coffee shop for coffee and a toilet break. We decided to run over to the beach and it started to rain. About 7 miles to home in the pouring rain and the temp dropped about 15 degrees. Thats riding in NEw England in the winter. On Wednesday I was in Vegas riding a rented Street Glide and the weather was better back home than Vegas. I couldn't wait to get back home to ride the Roadster. No comparison between a Street Glide and a Rocket. I still cant believe H-D sells so many of those pieces of rolling turd.

I am in Rancho Bernardo rode to El Centro north to Saltan Sea and west to Julian then home 300 mile day ride 2/25/2017
