Stuck Touring Seat

Pushing down on the front worked. I had the rear loose and then pushed down on the front, heard a click and then I was able to turn the key a little more and like magic the seat lifted off. I tried it a few more times. It seems on my bike I have to loosen the rear first and then push down on the front until I head a click and then I turn the key a little more. Thanks again. This web site is a life saver!

Ugh ... mine was stuck too when I bought the bike.

Lots of swearing, WD-40, key jiggling, and viola, just like that it comes off. Just like a dream (one of those bad ones where you wake up screaming).
