I'm not very practical, but I would like to see for myself whether everything is OK inside. The dealer says they have stripped it and cleaned it and it's OK, but I've got another month of warranty left, and more importantly, I do not want to be left stranded somewhere at night. When I looked on here, it implies there are two sacrficial bolts that hold the ignition switch to the bracket. That sounds to me like I would have to drill them out, then I wouldn't have any new bolts to put back in. Or can the switch be stripped without removing it from the bracket? What else has to come off the front (headlights? handlebars? etc)
Thanks
Mike
