Straight exhaust 12 min tune

If I put a straight exhaust on with no modification to the air intake system except for under tank filter mod will the 12 min tune be enough? I really don't want to have to get into trying to tune with a program by myself... I'm not very computer savvy.

How hard is it to tune it yourself? What tune would you use for straight pipes?

Have you pulled your mufflers off and fired it up? There's a reason you don't see anybody running straight pipes, it's not a pleasant sound.

You will need a computer retune to increase the air fuel ratio. However there is an alternative that really works quit well. Get yourself a Dobeck Performance AFR Plus. Easy to install and it will adjust the air fuel ratio to what ever you want. It is perfect for a guy who isn't computer savvy but otherwise a reasonable backyard mechanic. I have it on my bike and love it. Gained 19 HP and 9 TQ with it. Dyno proven just to be sure.
