I'm 6'2" and the stock solo seat sucks more than the stock seat on my Busa, I've done 750 miles in 1 day on the Busa and after 45 min's on the Rocket my twig and berries are **** near numb. It feels like I'm sitting on a slope and the seat seems to push me forward, p.o.s. seat! I've heard nothing but praise from some of Riches customers and he fits the seat to your arse while you're there with him. God I hope this works, going to South Dakota to visit friends the weekend after the 'greatest costume party in America'.

I hated mine too after receiving it, so I took it to a local shop, they used a hot tool to melt the plastic so the back rest hole was gone, then they added memory foam and material giving me a wide comfortable seat that I put 300+ miles on today.

Riches custom seats is similar to going to the Russell long haul seats but he shapes it in his shop while you wait then adds a gel pad and recovers it when he's done

I didn't care for mine either. Sold it and bought a Corbin. Corbin's seem to be a love them or hate them proposition. I've had a couple before and really like them and this one works for me.

I had a Corbin on my '91 ZX 11 and loved it but I figured for about the same money the seat will be custom fit to me while I'm there at his shop. This guy has been doing this for a long time and does very nice work. I 'm looking forward to getting this done, the worst part of it will be having to ride out to him on a crappy seat!

The regular AirHawk seat cushion solved that problem for me. I know its not as sexy but I use it mostly for long hauls not like back and forth to work.

I thought about the airhawk as well but the shape of the seat is the problem for me, although the airhawk would be much cheaper

I don't know much about Richies but seems like if they custom fit the seat to you then that would beat any air cushion. I would still get a Airhawk to use as well..... just something between the seat and body.

I was certainaly looking at the Corbin but time wa running out until I run over to Custer SD aug. 10 so I opted to go to Riches. The price is about the same and if the Corbin didn't work out for me I'd be pooched!
