Sticking Brake Light

My rear brake light has an annoying habit of staying on, any suggestions before I start to dismantle the engine?

how does the engine comes out , left side or right side .
to fix the rear light problem I believe the right side removal is required

lubricate brake light switch plungers with WD40 they might be getting gumbed up and sticky.

More likely you've got water in there from all that washing and something's rusted. Your pedal's not sticking is it?
