Same problem
I've had this same exact problem on my 2007 rocket classic. Dealer shimmed the starter last fall, seemed to help until lately. It'll have full power but just click. I'll rock it in gear, then it'll engage. Someone said a goldwing rebuild kit is the same. Previous owner supposedly did the eastern beaver kit. It has 13000 miles, runs great otherwise. Does put out a lot of heat. Considering running the special wet coolant in it. Suggestions?
