Start-up problems

I don't think this is related to your problem Rockit but thought it was worth sharing. I was reading about the 675 and new Tiger; Triumph says both of them have a new processor in the ECU that is faster requiring half the cranking time to start verses previous Triumph Keihin ECUs. Maybe Tom can expand but I would venture to guess that the ECUs have to confirm the sensors are communicating prior to powering the ignition.

Thanks Pianoman, just found that out Saturday when I saw the mechanic bring a Rocket around front put the stand down and it didn't shut off.I asked him and he said it wouldn't shut of in neutral.I'm slow and didn't catch that item in the owners manual.See Dave,I'm faster now and caught it.:D
