SpeedTV features Triumph tonight

speed @900pm EST

Retired trucker myself and proud owner of R3T..will watch the preceding Kenworth story followed by Triumph..thank God it repeats here at 800(kenworth) and 900pm PST.A double dose for me!!!

I love to watch shows that have something to do with what I'm interested in. Problem with that is the producers don't have a clue what they are doing because they could care less about the topic like we do. Nothing is more aggravating than watching a show on something I know a little about and seeing the total disregard for my intelligence. Just like a show on modern trains when they say "100 thousand tons" and I've never had one over 14 thousand. I realize mistakes are made, but when the narrator is talking about a twin cyl T-Bird and the video is a three cyl speed triple, you get the eyes rolling around in your head. LOL
Where is THEIR quality control? If I made a mistake like that I'd lose my job .... oops. ;)

I did catch glimpses of R3's for the same reasons ...

Do some of you Touring and two tone T-Bird owners have Gary Lewin's signature on your tanks?

Bring a video camera and do your own Doc. at Maggie Valley. :D

HF is right. I cringed when the narrator made a reference to a "Triple Speed" when a painter was working on the Speed Triple's tank.

Also, there were constant references to the huge amounts of torque available from the "largest engine in its class". Geez, not even a mention that the T-bird wasn't even the largest nor the most torque-creating engine made by Triumph?

At one point in last nights show, they were talking about the TBird, and showing the Rocket III on the assembly line. Good show, but there were some mistakes.

The TBird is a cute little bike though.

With respect, I observed some shows last year on High Def Theatre that did show Honda, and I think Suzuki assembly lines in action. They also had an episode on BMW, and I think Kawasaki.

Anyhow, it was cool to watch the Triumph line in action. Has anyone seen a TBird with that Blue/White tank? I have never seen one in the US.
