Kind of early in the morning, still a bit dark. Pulled up on kind of a sidewalk, pretty narrow, some gravel or sand and I've lost my footing. Dropped to the left side with handlebars fully engaged left. No damage to tank, but handlebars, mirror, heated grips, lever and what else is up there, then the drive-shaft had a smallish nick sissybar and cushion.. I'm leaving out the scratch on the crank-case as that would make it technically a total, and I dont have quite the money to replace the bike plus add-ons for it.

Anyway, insurance will pay just south of EUR 8'000.-. Holy ****!

I did the exact same thing, except my bars were not cranked all the way over. My crash bars saved the bike, no marks on anything. Makes the bars relatively cheap I think....
