Well guys it's been real fun. I posted my bike up a few weeks ago and had a few people fighting over it, I got the asking price I was looking for. I am quite happy. No one would believe me when I said I could sell this bike in the middle of winter LOL!

I have a baby on the way, being born in July! I had to cut down from 3 motorcycles to 2. Wife said 2 was OK but not 3. So I did what was best for me and my wife and now we have money to build a nursery and maybe a new iPhone for me haha!

I won't be around much anymore but I'll check in from time to time. I will miss my Rocket quite a bit. It was the first bike I bought with my wife together and we enjoyed lots of road trips on it. But it's time to move on. I've got a 2016 Yamaha Super Ténéré ES in the garage to replace it for next year! Best to everyone here.

Congrats!
And I'm sure you'll be back :)

I am looking forward to it possibly one day! There are a couple of things I want to see happen... If Triumph is updating their new bike lineup, I want to see a new Rocket. I don't care about the engine size, but I want Cruise Control, Traction Control and Rider modes. It makes sense for a bike with this much power. Very much hoping to see something like it down the line, and I'll see about getting one of those!

Congrats on the baby, condolences on the Rocket...
Thank you!! But no condolences needed, I wanted to get rid of the Rocket... I feel better having the cash in hand. We pay huge insurance rates here in Ontario, it will save me over $1200 a year just in insurance alone. I am sure I will have a lot of upcoming expenses, and after 3 years of owning the Rocket I felt it had provided me with enough joy and happiness that I would be OK letting it go. Someone just got a sweet deal and will be just as happy as me!

Congrats on the baby & being able to make a big decision with no regrets. Not everyone has that ability

I can't take all the credit. My wonderful, sweet and supporting wife said that I could keep the Rocket if I really wanted to (Even though she is sentimental about it) but I feel good about letting it go so I can clear off all my loans and be completely 100% Debt free which this will allow me to do. I feel that was pretty important. Either way, there will be more toys coming down the line at some point! Who knows.. Maybe I'll pick up a Triumph Scrambler for a fun toy or get a small dirt bike or something if I feel there is something missing lol. At least now I can afford to buy a new Iphone, I've been using this 4S since 2011 and it's killing me. These things aren't cheap!!
