Signed up for my first trackday on the Rocket :)

It is a blast Clav. They will think you are nuts bringing such a big girl to the party. I know you are going to show them what is what. I took mine in full dress to the Moto Fit Group track day at Oregon Raceway Park in Grass Valley, OR. Check out their web sites. ORP is an amazing road course track. It is about 2.5 miles with 16 turns.

The first time I scream past a sportbike on the straight, my day will be made :) Hope to get a couple pics like yours from it, would be a nice to have bonus of the event.

Best part - Beginner and Intermediate groups dont require coolant to be replaced with pure water, bolt wiring, or full leathers!

HA take it easy the ROCKETS no roadracer so dont throw the thing down the raod and destroy it Ive seen a lot of track day newbies crash thier road bikes and TOTAL them not a good idea so be careful

A trackday is a great idea on ANY bike, including a boss hoss. No where else can you safely explore the limits of your bike and yourself. I get what you're saying though, and while I'll ride fast, I certainly dont intend on crashing :p

Be careful! the Sports Bikes make it look easy, just remember you will be working a lot harder to get near those guys on the built for scratching bikes ,just have fun don't try to match them, nobody cares and most are impressed just how good the big rockets do handle, I have swapped bikes on a track day with my mate and completely creamed him he was riding my Rocket Touring and I was riding his GXR 1000 and he couldn't believe how much work he had to do just to keep in touch with the GXR but he :thumbsup:enjoyed the ride just the same, and I felt like I was cruising around the track
