Thanks for that but that's the one I have. Which seems to be a simple scan. The one on eBay looks like a true pdf with all the proper functions, like page previews etc, on the left hand side. If that is in fact the case it would make it searchable which is a huge help.

I've checked the copies I have and they are what you already have - scanned copies that can't be searched. The listed one looks to have the full functionality and would be a good buy for $10 if it does. Ask the seller to confirm. Might get one myself.
 
The one on Bishops site (cuppabella) does page previews but is not search able. I don't think searchability worth paying for in this case.
 
Sent the seller a question so we'll see. I, for one, think 10 bucks is worth it for the ability to search.
 
From Adobe site...

Adobe Reader X, however, does not have the accessibility authoring tools included in Acrobat X. For example, it cannot perform optical character recognition (OCR) conversions...

Needless to say I have Reader X.
