The first go around I shaped the stock seat pad with a sanding disk and cut some of the pan. This time I cut the pan with a jigsaw and lowered it about an inch in the back. It is now moved rearward about an inch. I drilled and rivitted the pan back in place. I used the memory foam floor mat to smooth the edges and add some extra padding which made the seat a little wider as well. I used a 3" hole saw and cut the pan under my sitting bones. The result has been satisfactory so far. The extra inch has gotten rid of the stock feel of the seat pushing up into my tail bone. It's a comfortable feel in the saddle now.

I glued the stock pad back onto the above. The floor mats were stapled to the pan.
