Jack Rackham was hung for piracy as was Charles vain after refusing the kings pardon .
Ann Bonnie mysteriously disappeared from the prison she was being held in and was never heard from again .
Capt Flint died of liver failure in a cheap English boarding house .
The true pirates were all officers in the kings navy before becoming privateers and being given carte Blanche to reak havoc on the French and Spanish , sharing their booty with king George . It was only when they stopped paying the king his share that they became known as pirates !
