Anyone know if this is going to cause any problems . . . like plug fouling etc. to run it on the stock ECU settings before I get my Tuneboy?

I also picked up 2 sets of the header gaskets (bought all they had), so I can put fresh ones on when I install the Jardines. Hopefully they will be here tomorrow.

Should I do a 12 minute Tune or will that help it at all?

Suggestions?

your taking a risk on running too lean,,,,,

that being said its your bike and your a big boy.

I ran my jardines with a stock airfilter and no retune for a few days while I was waiting on my tune boy, doesn't appear to have messed anything up, but they popped LOUD and often...

soon after loaded a tune, went to pod filters,,,, removed secondaries...oh it just gets better and better

Regulator..............what tune did you load before you made the change to pods? I just got an email from Wayne.........and for my setup....Jars and stock filter..........he said to try the new Jar and triple tune............and said I would know if it was too rich............and if so............to try the Staintune Tune...............I guess NOT the TORS tune..........man............this is quite daunting............Dougl was nice enough to offer help but..................kinda depressing......LOL.............I USED to think I was smart................now no matter what......I just feel like an educated guesser!!

Even Jardine says you need a PC...and most pipe companies do not say that, or even hint at it due to added cost.

Jardine insists upon it, and dynoed a bike to ensure corresponding tunes are available free for the PC3.

Short of that you will be playing Russian roulette, but I'd wager more then one person is doing it.

BFL? Overly lean conditions and a lack/loss of power at various times in the RPM band.

But it's safe to ride a couple days till I get my TuneBoy . .. yes or no?

If you only have a few days till you get the tuneboy why risk it? Ultimately it is yours to do what you want but if it were mine I would not.....

Start working on the exhaust...that alone can take 1-2 days depending on your schedule alone.

Uh . .. 1 1/2 hours to be exact . . .give or take 15 minutes. Thatnks for the right up . . . I referred to it a couple . . dozen times . . . heh. :p

Didn't really have any problems other than not putting the right side muffler on the inside bracket the first time thru. DOH!

The second side made it clear real quick something wasn't jiving.

It's on with picts to come.

Thanks,
Gary

IMO, and yes I do have the Jardines, is start it, listen to it, but I would not
ride it until I got the TuneBoy or PC111.
