Not sure if I'm allowed to post other club meets on here ?? I'm sure no one will mind
The good guys and girls from the Triumph Rocket lll owners club Uk have a meet organised at the Ace café in north London Just off the A406 in Stonebridge on Saturday the 21st of April.
Its not a ticket event and you don't need to be a member but you can sign up to the club on the day if you want .
Its worth the ride just to see so many Rocket 3's in one place at the same time I went last year and there was a good turn out of about 100 bikes over the course of the day and of course being R3's no two were the same .
If nothing else it gives a ride destination and you can get a half decent cuppa tea and bacon roll ( at north London prices of course ) whilst talking rubbish about Motorbikes ...what could be better ?
As long as the weathers not to shabby think I might pop along again .
Ooohh now there's a nice idea. Now I move house the following weekend and it's the wifes birthday the following day. This could the choice that limits my time on this planet! Decisions, decisions...
I've put it on my calender. Fair trek though so will need to make sure I'm free all weekend and stay with family just outside London. Fingers crossed for good weather
Where exactly is the Ace Cafe. I know it's a famous place and I've seen pics of it over the years but have no idea as to it's actual location.
There is an Ace Cafe in Texas modeled after the original. I just tried to find some of the ride pics when I visited but no joy. It really is pretty cool with a Brit bike museum and all.

The original Ace Café is located in Stonebridge, Brent, North London. Below is the Wikipedia link which will provide a brief description and its history. Ace Cafe - Wikipedia
I have shown a little interest in going and her indoors has given me her blessing to go. Is she just testing me to see how brave I really am or is there an ulterior motive???
