After reading through all 38 pages of the thread, you all have convinced me that I have to do this trip. Sounds like it going to be a great time. I'm going to try to hook up with the K.C. group and ride down with them. I'm even going spend both of my yearly vacation days at the same time and stay till Monday!! Now to the lodging!!
 
I'm gonna put some goodies in the Pannier. Especially the leather care stuff, that is, if I get it in time.

The owner of the company that makes it died last week. Had a brain tumor. It was benign for a number of years but started growing rapidly this month. Jake passed last week at home. His daughter has taken over the company and she's trying hard to fill orders. It was a mom & pop operation, just family.

I've waited almost 3 months for this stuff. My personal supply is gone and I'm in dire need myself. I've been promised by the end of the month so we shall see. I pre-paid almost a grand for it. I'm getting a little anxious....

I'll have the only Rocket there with 2 shiny discs and a black one. The black one is the one covered in fork oil. I ordered the seals from Bike Bandit and no seals as yet either. I heard they were slow...they must be making them.

I'm Biting My Lip

I hope everyone's curiosity is getting to them about who is the mystery rider this year. As the "First Mystery rider last year, I have been given the priviledge of knowing who it is ...... but I'm not telling.

Thanks to everyone that chipped in with advice, information and suggestions about this years RAA III. A special thanks to Pig9r for kicking us all in the "You know where" to even get this thing off the ground. Also, our Webmaster who gave us the vehicle to post and comment.

No matter how hard you organize, there will be things that won't work the way we planned or reservations that get screwed up ( ask my new pal RidinSunshine ) but somehow we'll get together and have a wonderful time.

Meeting folks we've talked with for a couple of years. Putting a name with a face. Then, trying to remember the name! I hope you're all looking forward to ES as much as I am and I can't wait to get there.
