That's the best way I can describe it....

She seems to be running fine under acceleration and at interstate speeds (75+ MPH). But, riding around town at lower speeds, I would say anything under 60 MPH, if I'm not accelerating, she starts stuttering... almost feels like she's going to stall out sometimes...

My best guess is that I got some bad gas a couple of fill ups ago, since that's when it started...

Any other ideas? And, if that's what it is, should I just drain the tank and change the fuel filter? I've been looking at the shop manual to see if I'll be able to to do this when I get home... Is it really necessary to replace the pump plate seal as noted in the manual on page 11.159? If it is, I won't be able to do it myself... I have the filter and some extra clamps but that's it...

I'm thinking that would fix it, but just looking for a little input before I do it.

By the way, I'm leaving for MV tomorrow after work, so I gotta get it fixed today if possible....

Mine is also doing this, and has been getting progressively worse every time I ride. I guess I need to put an order in for a TPS. Mine is an 05, so I am sure it is the faulty TPS that Triumph put in it originally. I wish Triumph would spend a little more time in the testing phase of building a bike, especially in the electrical department.

I'm suffering the same fate, I believe.

I'm riding done a relatively flat street at a constant throttle position and it's 'surging'...
Kind of the same feeling that you get when you're riding into a gusty headwind....

I don't feel the same sensation at highway speeds, only slower speeds.:(

I just been riding faster than I normally would until I can get it fixed. :D

looks like I'm not the only one... must be something in the air....

I guess this is something they can do pretty fast? He said if I could get it up there today, they would get it looked at and if he was right, they would get it fixed today...

JD if all else fails just ride it faster then 75mph, hurry up I am waiting:D

got it up to the dealership today... top notch place.

They checked it out and confirmed it's the TPS and also told me the throttle bodies need balancing...

They didn't have a TPS, but they are getting one from one of their other dealerships delivered tonight...

I gotta have it up there by 2pm tomorrow and they will have it done by the time they close (6PM)... I guess I'll be getting to MV later than planned tomorrow...

Every RAA I've been to, I've had problems right before I went.... luckily they've all got fixed just in time....
