I'm thinking that if anyone gets them side-by-side one day, they should compare the openings. It would make sense that they would be similar and I hope they are. I like the big Roadster TOR's, would be great if I could trade my Triple TOR's to someone who wants triples rather than the giant TOR duals. :)
Someone will find out for sure eventually.

Under my roadster, the cross over has those two square boxes. Looks like the header goes into the box and then comes out into the exhausts. The TOR's I have eliminated the cats in the pipes.(lesser weight and larger thru hole) Are those boxes in the crossover holding cats also? If so, does anyone make one without them? This could be the sound reduction.
Trouble with being the first. No good **** available yet. Where is Sam when I need him. Does anybody know if he's working on a set of Roadster pipes? If so, I'll take a set.
Later

I've done a lot of research on all this stuff.

I've found that there is in fact a cat under the bike. Only one company makes a cat eliminator. Staintune- Triumph Rocket Roadster Exhaust
They also make slip-ons like the Roadster TORs. You can get the cat eliminator for about $450 or the whole package for a little over a grand from a couple vendors or your local triumph shop. My local shop quoted me $1,099 for the slip-ons plus the cat eliminator. No, I don't work for Staintune. No, I have not tested or purchased them yet. Yes, I will test them if I get them.

That ABS box is in fact in the way. It will not accommodate the non-roadster cat box, and has taken away the possibility of the Jardines. I just found that out a couple nights ago and posted a thread in "Common Issues"- http://www.r3owners.net/common-issues/7804-roadster-jardine-bad-now.html

I hope this helps. It's taken a good amount of time to get all this info, thought others would like a short cut to the info.

Bettle Bags on Roadster

Corbin does not list a fitment for their bettle bags for the 2010/11 Roadster but will these bags still fit?

I have taken a look at the 2009 standard and the 2011 Roadster and the only difference I can see (that would be a consideration for the bags) is the exhaust. The fender rail & shocks look the same but what about the 3rd lower mounting point for the bags?

Does anyone know?

Thanks
