Anybody else seen the 2010 Rocket Roadster on the Rat.Net site? Looks sharp. Looks like they put the Touring mufflers on the standard Roc. The article said 15% more torque.

Did a Google search, appears that someone on ADVrider broke the news. At about 169 ft/lbs torque...I may have to invest in a tire company somewhere. Dual exhausts...BIG and with ABS. Blacked out shocks and forks, appears to be the same engine size (so much...so far...for the elusive 2500 cc).




We'll just have to wait and see....

That's a nice looking ride.. I think those mirrors are my next addition to mine..

I HIGHLY doubt the 2500cc version. There's close to 100 more horsepower sitting in the engine we have now with only a change of pistons, cams, and a tune to match.

Seen it on the rat site.
Looks kinda like the Thunderbird exhaust.
Can't afford it though, working out a deal on a second Rocket..
I hope to finally put the great debate to bed once and for all.
Which is faster.

They had to do something to it to increase the torque that much like cams or a compression change. It can't be the pipes, maybe its advertisement torque not actual torque.

Also, I forgot to mention the write up on it (very limited at best) said something to do with increasing the "aural" experience so the mufflers may have a little more oooopmh (or is that oooomph???) to them.

2010 Rocket III Roadster

Here's a MCN article that just went on line about it today.

Hoping those pipes will be affordable and will fit my '08 Classic with a cat by-pass. Sounds (no pun intended) like they've decided to put some growl into her. That's the only thing the R3 ever really missed out of the box.

Oh... I just noticed they pulled the front pegs back where I sometimes wish mine were.. and it finally gets new rear shocks too!..
