Rocket 3 Storm GT 2025
He is kinda known on youtube when he joined as nobody Yammie Noob's channel and then broke up, now with his own channel, now just dropped a Rocket 3 review. I am not saying he is perfect, he just added good points to Yammie's only-sports-bike-stupid-views on cruisers, since he comes from a HD background of preference.

What is surprising to me was his these specific points:
- 1st gear too "rough"
- 1st gear he physically feels managed by a computer to hide the torque

One mistake I noticed, he doesn't know that you can start the bike still, even with a dead fob battery.

Thoughts?

I watched that review the other day too, I picked up on his dislike for the fob & idea that you couldn't start the bike if the battery goes flat. If you're gonna review a bike at least know a bit about it. I've seen other reviewers who dislike the the colour of the TFT, unaware it could be changed.
I noted he put the rocket 2nd to his Gen 1 V-Max, so I guess he quite likes the bike for what it is.
I dunno what they're on about with the clutch feeling rough & grabby? Mine is sweet.

At the end of the day, I'm not swayed by reviewers comments on a particular bike, I consider them sure, but always do my own ground work & make a decision on my thoughts, not someone elses.

I posted a link to it earlier today in the 'Random Stuff' thread and my brief comment was that I thought it was a fair review and that I thought in essence that he described the feel of riding the bike pretty good, meaning that he 'understood it'.

That said, I agree with you about the first gear thing. I don't see it myself, but maybe he's tuned in deeper than me (??)
I do, however agree with him regarding the key fob and the display. I wish it didn't have to have that stuff. I'd like things more analogue as a preference, but I accept that there are other tech as part of it that is needed for safety etc.... so I guess it is what it is.

My 2021 would be a little sticky at first leaving first gear and would have an on and off feeling in the friction zone. After a while it went away. I can still get it but only have it has sat for a few months. One good ride and the clutch is good again. Even sticky it isn't bad or really terrible, just something that you could nit pick on if you really wanted.
