Has anyone had this problem on an R3T?
Pulled up to a stop light on the way home tonight. Was at almost a complete stop and in first gear, with the clutch lever completely depressed, the bike suddenly lurched forward and stalled. Just like the clutch cable broke. The problem is inside the tranny! Had to push the beast a mile home, on one of the hottest days this year. I'm beat! And none too happy!
Dealer here you come!!! That certainly would not be fun. It would take quite a bit of "out of adjustment" cable to do that. But it should be under warranty. Sorry to hear about the news. I have not had any problems with my R3T. But I only have about 100 miles on it due to weather restrictions!!!!! mad. Good luck ! keep us posted
With the way the clutch is actuated on the Rocket it doesn't take long for the lifter shaft to get ate up if there is not the proper adjustment. Or the lifter shaft or lifter piece failed and broke. Or could be something else, just a guess.

The lifter shaft (#25) is what sticks out of the engine case and the cable hooks to. It rotates when pulled and the opening on the shaft grabs the lifter piece (#24) if there is not enough slack the lifter shaft will ride on the lifter piece and eventually get eaten up like this.
