Replacement horn for R3GT/R

Has anyone replaced the stock horn with say a Denali car horn on a Rocket 3 GT / R?

I agree with The Boog's post about the horn needing to be replaced but before I make a virtual trip to Amazon for a new horn, I was wondering if anyone else has fitted a horn to this bike.

If you did replace it, what did you replace it with? Any fitment issues, any wiring issues?

Do the new Rockets come with the same Harry Hoofter horns from the originals?

Yes, it's a disc horn. Meep meep!

Two wire same setup as Rocket III Roadster, 12V but I am not sure if a larger horn will fit.

Was really hoping to hear from those who own a Rocket 3 GT / R and have made a replacement.

I don't need a forum for speculation about what I could do.

I need real answers about what I can do.

And before you chime in with "Let me tell you what you CAN DO!" please know I mean no disrespect.

Just that these forums often GET WAY off topic but it usually takes 5 or 10 responses first.

So I'm just curious, with a histogram of how many new bikes are out there, how long each has been had, mileage on them; what is the probability that multiple owners have thought about changing the object of their desires now in the garage, such that one, with the means and motivation, actually works through the details ?

I suggest you have self-identified as the first, and perhaps that sense, is behind the helpful people here aiding your journey (no extra charge).
