removing wheel bearings ? - anyone know how ?

Right, now flip them over and find a small Persuader that will fit through the bearing that’s now on top and catch the inside lip of the bearing underneath ….. ‘Tap’ your persuader with a hammer and at the same time move the persuader around the edge of the bearing…..This should remove the bearing without getting it pinched….. Sometimes you have to ‘tap’ harder than others…. And don’t forget to put the wheel on two blocks to lift it of the bench, so the bearing has room to come out….

Good luck......

Done a few wheel bearings recently and found these do a reasonable & cheap job of removal:

In brief -
Choose the right size Floor Bolt i.e. M16 for your bearing I/D.
Place the expandable bit in the bearing.
Snap MoleGrips around the opposite end and ring spanner on nut.
Tighten nut to expand Floor Bolt into bearing I/D.
Use wheel axle from other side and carefully start hammering out.
Take care not to damage axle threads!
Do same for other side.
