REMOVAL of EVAPORATIVE LOSS CANISTER

as a precaution i would position that over flow hose away from exhaust especially if u remove the roll over valve.:D

Another bit of useful information for my personal modification manual that I am compiling should I ever feel the need to remove mine. Thanks

I did NOT remove the valve and the overflow tube has been directed down and out on the left side.
All exhaust (CES) is over on the right side.
Thanks!

You should post some pics with all that extra space after the canister removal and your horn install, Steve

OK, OK . . .

The PDM60 is tucked in down and behind the battery, under the rubber strap and the keyless is to its right.
Blue wire on left runs from the horn button to the Stebel, which under the side cover is still loud as heck!

... Blue wire on left runs from the horn button to the Stebel...

I believe the blue wire actually runs to the PDM60 Ground Trigger (not directly to the Stebel) :D
(that wire could have been much smaller - 20ga would be plenty!)

You really need to do clean up all that wiring under the seat! :whitstling: :D

Picky, picky - I screwed up . . .
NOTE FOLKS: THE BLUE WIRE GOES FROM THE HORN SWITCH TO THE PDM60!

EXACTLY why I should have stopped by to see you when I was with Jim!
Seriously though, THANKS for ALL the help.
What's you fav booze?

Removed mine finally today with the plan to fit the Suzuki rectifier which I have had for some time. As an anecdote, I do believe the evap system on these bikes is little more than a permanent vacuum leak, for the bike idles much smoother now. Rollover valve preserved, and burp hose pointing toward terra firma.
