Removal Instructions for ECU?

I just ordered a Carpenter Exhaust Kit and a K&N Air Filter for my 2013 Rocket III Roadster. I had checked with a local shop near me to see about getting the ECU re-mapped to account for the mods, but the guy at this shop didn't seem to know much of what he was talking about. Instead, the guy I spoke to at Carpenter was very helpful and offered to have me send in my ECU and they can flash it to the proper tune for $200 and send it back to me. I think I'm just going to go that route cause I trust Carpenter to know what they are doing, but I am having trouble finding instructions on how to remove the ECU from my bike so I can send it in to them. Does anyone know of an online resource for that? Thanks for your time.

Presumably, Carpenter would load a Tuneboy tune customized for their exhaust and a K&N that they made using one of their bikes. If they don't have a tune for that exact setup, I would not recommend it. The $200 must be for the Tuneboy key. How do you get your bike tuned for $200? Do you have a Power Commander?

Nels works the race circuit and is well known.
He has a dyno in a semi trailer and recently a brand new one in his shop in Woodinville, WA.
I have had two motors tuned by him and he IS good.
Cost was $200 for both my R3R and a Stratoliner.
My only point is that the dyno is specific to your engine - the flash is NOT.
For similar expense, I'd go with the dyno hands down.
