Reevu Helmet

I am trying to find anyone that carries the Reevu line of helmets in the USA ? I would like to try one before buying it !

Went to the website, as of now there are no distributors due to the fact that they haven't passed DOT standards, not that they failed just that they haven't brought them across the pond yet 8)

I got this response from filling out their form:

Hi Brad

Due to the huge demand created here in Europe, we do not have distribution in the USA yet. We are going through the preliminary tests for the DOT and should have the full certification this year hopefully around September. We will then be able to put distribution in place and introduce the helmets into the US market.

We have a mailing list to keep you updated of when the helmets are available in your country.

I will keep you posted once I have news.

Hello,

The Reevu helmet is nice... However, the airflow over the rocket causes my Reevu helmet to shift backwards while driving, especially >120 km/h. THe rearward view is then minimized. However, it is easy to reposition using the lower jaw...

It does give a nice rearward view. I do like it, but I don't think I'll buy another one whenever this one needs replacement.
