So I took my tire to my local mechanic (not Triumph Dealer) to get the tire replaced. When they got the tire off they thought there was a spacer missing. What do you think? If there is something missing, I'm going to be pissed. I just spent over $5k having the bottom end, drive line and hub replaced.

Not sure about the spacer but you spent$5000 dollars fixing a 2005 Rocket:eek: that is what the bike is worth I have been trying to sell mine for a while with little interest for that price or even a wee bit cheaper
You sound like my wife. Just what I need
Let's keep it limited to the spacer, I don't know if I can handle another lecture on the economics.

There is no spacer in there. The only spacer I remember, is between the right side of the tire and the brake assembly.

Edit to add:
Looks like I was wrong. Mine never came out, so I thought it was all 1 piece.

Yep something looks missing, this is a pic of a 2008 standard final drive I have in my shed.

SuperD, there is definitely a gap there compared to the 08 final drive. I am not an expert at all but I see what you are referring too. Looks to be a bushing/spacer.

It is a spacer... Triumph no longer has them in stock.... I have to get it made.

Not helpful, I'm sorry, but WOW -- that would seem to be a fundamental part -- not some accessory Marketing decided to discontinue.

Have you tried Hermey's ? 2Wheel Pro ? eBay ?

Looking at Hermey's, all the spacers appear to be available -- would be worth a call.

Hating to hear that...Wonder if anyone on here may have that spacer? I would definitely be having a conversation with the local mechanic...not that it would gain you anything but I would address it with them. Local machinist could probably knock one out for ya reasonably.
