REAR TIRE/WHEEL Air VALVE Removal?

I can only give you the Triumph part number and because my parts guy treats me so good I can't even tell you the price as mine was free :D

Must be nice. I have NO relationship with the local dealer. They are a bunch of bone heads that don't have much to say to their customers unless they see their check book and they are ready to buy.

I may just try and clean the one I have. Though I'd pick another one up just in case.

I've decided to take the bike back to the Dealer that screwed it up in the first place. Against my better judgement and their past service record with my R3.

I hate paying another dealer to fix something at my expense what another did in the first place.

If they can without cutting the tire off, then great . . . if not . . . I'll have another one to go in it's place tomorrow.

I do have a little relationship with the service manager and the sales folk, but we'll see how much that get's me this time around.

Did mention that if my rim has been damaged they would be the ones ordering another one. Don't think I'll get 'em to pony up on a the new tire . . . they just don't get SERVICE and STANDING BEHIND THEIR WORK. We'll the SM does, but the owner and mechanics . . . that's another issue.

I did tell 'em that they had one week. I get back from Vegas next Wed. and if it's not fixed . . . I'll come get it and then take it to another dealer. This is there only shot at trying to redeem themselves. They blow it this time . . . I'm out for life. Actually I'll probably not go back anyway.

End rant

So, just what kind of "relations" have you had with your dealer?  8)

Obviously not very good. :p

I believe dealers should treat their customers with a certain level of respect and courtesy. Not ignore them.

I expect to be waited on with genuine interest for my business when I walk thru the door. If I'm just looking . . . I should have to be asked by someone if there is anything I need. Hows the bike . . . etc. etc.

Don't get that warm and fuzzy feeling like you would like to spend money with them. Some dealers go way outta their way to try and keep customers for repeat sales.

Guess I expect too much . . . quality service is becoming harder to get these days at some shops.
