Rear Shocks

I have the Progressive 412's with HD springs at stock length, I am happy with them at my 225 lbs and 5'10"s
Some like the 440's but these work well for about half the price of the 440's. I am going to go 1/2" shorter for more of a cruiser look. If you like the twisty's stick with stock length or even 1/2" longer. If interested mine will be for sale once I can get at bike in storage when some snow melts. I will sell for $175 shipped in domestic USA to you. They have about 1000 miles on them.

do any of you 412 user's ride 2 up? I have been thinking shocks but I am not sure if my 155 lb arse even uses the stock ones. and I do not ride two up to often. Two on a bike means no high speed riding. Don't get me wrong when a pretty girl wants a ride I will ride slow

Tried progressive, better than stock by far, but ended up with extra long Hagon's which, by the way, ROCK! :twisted:

That's definitely a great first investment...I sure wish I had done it sooner. Others on the forum have way more experience than I, so you should get good info.

My only experience is stock and Progressive 440's which are great. Not sure I could appreciate the subtleties of the better shocks, but am game to try! I KNOW the stocks were terrible, even I could tell that.

I have the 440s with the HD springs. I weigh 233 (aprox. No crap from you skinny A**#$@#s). I wish I would have gone for the standard springs. Still a little too stiff for me.

Thats it I pulled the trigger on a set of Hagon Nitros today
The bummer is I might not get them before Daytona Bike week as I ordered 1" taller ones and they have to come from the UK. Theres a chance but I won't hold my breath!!!
