Now remember brighter is not always better, "bright like a welding flash", now what about the poor sucker driving behind you all he is seeing is spots floating all over the place affecting his vision, I will see Freds lights in a few moths but our Fred is a smart cookie he would not put anything dangerous on his bike.

OK, OK. My analogy was a skosh exaggerated and I was only a foot or so from the light whilst working on the wiring.
You are indeed correct in that too much light washes away contrast and becomes as difficult to see in as complete dark.
Twas really only bright as a locomotive headlight!
:p

Installed these turn, standing, brake light system today, I like it and pretty easy to install now will have to find the wire for the front brake and install a resistor as it is not (well really too much power) working.

What brand are they? Look great. The new bike doesn't have any turn signals.

Okay now you do know that looking at bright lights from only a foot or even 12inches away can harm your eyes:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::D by the way the Advaced Rider Course is changing a few exercises I will get some material and bring it to Stearns for you.
