I'm going to have to pull the plug and pass on this trip. I left home (in Adelaide) at 5.30 this morning. Half an hour down the road the bike backfired and chugged a bit and the engine light came on. Turned around and took it home. I plugged the bike into the tuneecu and its showing an error P0122 throttle sensor low voltage (short to ground or open circuit). Tthe error wont clear so I'm waiting to call Peter Stevens once they open. I'm hoping they could look at it today but I wont hold my breath.
My plan was to ride to Albury today, then to Newcastle tomorrow, but with this issue, I'm not really keen to ride all the way to SWR without getting this looked at.

Sorry guys, I was looking forwarding to meeting up and having a few beers.....

M8,
These guys carry spares and can likely fix it on the spot!

I can understand the worry about breaking down it's a long Haul from Adelaide to SW Rocks and a lot of open Freeway with no Towns around, and no one will stop to help if you are broken down(too risky now a days)
if he was local (near me) I would have said ride up with me and if something happens I can get the bike picked up but he is over 1000Ks away , best not to risk it!

Peter Stevens opens in half an hour, so will call them then and hopefully, they may be able to sort me out. Stay tuned!!

Sounds like a TPS issue, check the connection might just be a bad contact and just need some dielectric grease in it

I couldn't get into the van park unfortunately so am way over the other side of town near the Satlwater Lagoon it is the Big 4 Sunshine, bloody exspensive but only click to me that I had better book a spot in the van park near the Seabreeze, this was Monday, as luck would have it they said there some big thing happening in town and did not even have spare spots o I rang the Big 4 and they wanted $260.00 for the 4 nights! I said to the lady on the phone I only want a powered site which normally only cost 35 to 40 buck and $65 a night was ridiculas so she went and saw her manager and came bak with $50 a night so $200 still steep but it has great features so not to bad the, at the entrance there is a restruant which is the one we went to, about halfway between the town centre and our van park there is a nice looking Country club if we are looking for an alternative to Seabreeze, where are we having the the get together Friday night and what time, tomorrow if is as nice weather as it was today I am going to have some fun in the mini water slide park in the van park
