We have our Triumph Noreast rally every year in Central NY, I always invite everyone here and at .com. Ed (biker69 here I think), who is the organizer, and myself have been the only Rockets so far. Hopefully Norseman will make it 3 this year. Weekend after Labor Day.

Yes Fred..u know i'm retired...but the object isn't necessarily to go to every one.

The goal in my view is this...
*it gives a greater number of folks the opportunity to attend one (or more) closer to home, thus less expense & less time off work.
*it gives more chances to see different parts of the country, if u do wanta travel.
*the "locals" play host and plan the routes.
*it spreads things out & controls the numbers (bigger not always better-my opinion).

You offer some good points there. The fall one we did, can't remember if it was last year or the year before at the hub was kinda nice. Small turn out but great fun. Just pulling your pisser on the retirement thing

It's real read to see you over here. I enjoyed meeting you and the missus in Packwood last summer. You rode clear across country - impressive indeed.

I like your series idea a lot. Every month may be a tad aggressive; but, several events spread around the country over the summer months would be very cool. It would provide a much better opportunity for everyone to be able to attend at least one event rather than be forced into an its now or never decision to attend one event wherever it may be located.

I have had a little ton of bad luck but then considering how I sometimes ride being alive is a great bonus

This is just an example.......but my opinion is there should be a series each year:

for example:

May-NC/TN/GA
June-WV/VA
July-New England/Nova Scotia
August-Pacific N.W.
Sept-N. Californi'
Oct-Texas/Arizona

I could help out on the VA/WV sites. A suggestion might be to alternate east/west every month. NC in May and then moving just a little ways north the next month might be repetitious. Similar with Pac NW and N Cali.

I'm sure someone will hold a room for you. The cabins start out as 2 room and go up.
Take it easy so you will heal. We know your a hard headed pollock !!
