Paul we are looking around Middlesboro Ky. I guess we are going to have to ride up there next weekend to find a motel. I am trying to find one where we can have a fire at night. I found a great place but I don't think y'all want to use a bath house. LOL And most of the cabins have bunk beds.

looks like the best point if you want to ride western side of the Appalachians and still stay close to Tennessee

Ya, I think for us, we would probably visit some hot springs on the way back, or who knows, both ways ?

The Boone Trail Inn is $50 a night plus taxes. No fire pit but it has a pool. Also we aren't trying to stay close to Tn so much as we are looking for some good riding for others.

Copperhead Road and Reapers Ride. That's the plan. Of course they usually change but that's what we are looking at.

Really do not care. Just ready to ride. Only one ride to Leaky Texas under my belt but this year we plan on a few more. Looking forward to meeting up with the East coast Junkies. Count me in. Been through Tennessee a few times but never been to Kentucky. Should be fun. Oh it is amazing how ones mind works and gets rearranged at 60.
