hey bonecarver i have all that stuff comming for my 09 touring jardines triple k&n power commander v and auto tune. did u have to down load a tune or did the auto tune make all the need tune adjustments .

So I'm not alone that make me feel better but...well no buts. When I got 30 mpg I don't think I went over 65. So this week I'll see how bad it really can be is it possible to obtain 10-15 mpg? I'll let you know.:D

Stock 2010 R3T with TORS

My 2010 has the TORS & dealer remapping. I have seen anywhere from 28 to 38 mpg in my two years and over 13,000 miles of riding it. An interesting thing is that lots of "cheap" (not any gasoline fits this category anymore) non major brand gas stations have ethanol added at least to their regular 87 octane fuel. The ethanol has a lower BTU content than does the gasoline and will get you lower mpg. When I got that low of 28 mpg, I wasn't riding hard or anything unusual, so I went to a name brand (Marathon) station for my next fill-up getting the mid-grade 89 octane. My mileages jumped to 32.75 mpg riding in the exact same manner as before. Most of my riding is short distance, so 33 isn't bad at all for an R3T. It did show me there is a significant difference in the content of the fuel we purchase, and that paying a little more can actually be cheaper in the long run with higher mpg.

I started with the fuel map for the PCV that I got from Hans, The auto tune has been making adjustments to it. It appeared to be quite rich as mileage dropped terribly from what I was getting stock, and is picking back up again as the auto tune makes changes to the map.

I also started with the ECU map that I got from Dennis, it is one of Wayne Tripps maps for TuneECU.

I have a copy of the files here.... Index of /rocket

I am very very happy with the results. Be Careful until you get use to the changes in power from the stock setup.

28-30 local rideing with under the seat Kn'N with Jardines..almost 40 on the Highway/interstate..will be dyno with PC5 and auto-tune soon..using Tor tune now with OK acceleration but some annoying decel..also have the GiPro-Atre

calculating your milage

Ok, everyone here seems to know how to calculate how many miles per gallon they are getting.
How do I figure out mine? is there an easy way? a special mathematical formula?
