So it seems like theres a limit to how far a touring models hp can be increased. Assuming the ecu is different from the higher hp models, can one simply swap out for another ecu? What i want is all the hp and torque that was available on the other models (r and gt?). Has anyone done it.?

I don't believe it can be done. Even if it could I am not the engine could make that HP with just a ECU swap. You would have yo look at cam grinds, intake/exhaust port differences, maybe even different injectors. If you want to go big, then your best bet is the guy in the tin shed or possibly a Carpenter 210 kit. Or do the 240hp kit and do forced air induction of some type. My 2Cents worth today. And that could be 1.99 cents wong.

Which 20368 tune there are 3, the 20368 that was revised by @Bob R and its what i had on the first dyno on that thread, about the same settup as you have. But take a screen shot of the 20368 and who made it will be on it. thats gonna max you out until you can get to a tuner and have him do a timing tune not just afrs because theres timing there to be had for more power on that tune, but you cant guess at that you have to know how to find max timing without going over the edge so if you can find a tuner that can do that theres more there. The touring is neutered from the factory to behave like any big bagger biker. But snap that picture of 20368 tune for signature and look at my dynos in that thread its kinda a progression instead of just a stock to 250 job, lot of info from guys on here that know there shiznit.

I recently became aware that there are 3 sources. I got mine from the tuneecu site. Ill check it out. My laptop is at work right now tho. But thats promising news. Ill have to plan a trip to san antonio or houston, but itll be worth it. I have no idea what that will cost.
