I'm thinking Tuneboy is a cheaper way to go. That's assuming the change could be done. The throttle body assembly is different on the two and at around $2K on top of the cost of the ECU you're starting to get into some serious money.
If you look at the tunes of the two bikes its pretty obvious where the changes were made to de-tune the R3T. That lost power is just a few key strokes away. As soon as it cools off a bit here I think I'll get mine dynoed to see just how much I've picked up. I expect I've regained most of the lost power.
