Wow

Just done the free tune. Yes it makes a big difference, I don't have a dino to do before and after but it made a big difference. Thank you very much.

Just for information guys the gas gauge will start working again when you go a little ways just like when you fill up.

Even riding like Mr. Hyde for my first trip out after the tune, the gas mileage actual has gone up by about 5 mpg at best guise.

So far this is the only modification to the bike. Still looking for a cat delete pipe.

Thank you again for the tune!:):):):D:D:D

There is no cat delete pipe for the touring. The cats in the silencers, you need to replace those

70's Kawaski 3 cylinder 2-stroke: great power, itty bitty power band, but useless for anything but full throttle, 1/4 mile, acceleration.

I had an H1 back when. You are right about the power band, on and off like a light switch, and nearly as fast getting to it and through it.

Terrible brakes, worse suspension, I would ride about 90 miles from my hometown to Dallas at hiway speeds and eat a set of plugs up.

But it was still FUN!!!! :D

You must hammer it hard, I get/got 40+, both before and after adding pipes and retuning it, unless I'm hammering it.

Mileage

I don't Hammer it, but I did average about 85 for half of the trip, about 25% was in city with heavy traffic, and the balance was about 70 on 2 lane black top for long distances...

It is what it is, perhaps it the variance I have in the manifold pressure... 660/670/630

Thoughts?

Short Ride

Went for a short ride today, two up, boxes loaded. Keep it around 70, got about 41 mpg in with a moderate breeze of 20 mph.

I have a aftermarket cruse controller that prob helped.

The balance on my bike reads 620,650,620 if that helps any. I don't know how to balance my bike out yet.

Hope that helps you out.:)

Did did a 4000 mile trip last year, at 55-60 mph I got near 45 mpg, at 65-70, got 40, 75-80, about 35, and at 85 I was definitely under 30 mpg, so that makes sense.
