On a more serious note - got very wet and wind-buffeted today at highway speed (still running-in so nothing above 3000 rpm). I'm not interested in a full screen but would appreciate any feedback y'all might have re fly screens....?

Also is this the right section to post this type of query?

On the screen thing, I have to confess to not being a fan at all (I can't stand the buffeting around my head) but plenty of guys on here swear by them. I'm happy to take the wind in the chest because I find the lights, gauges and tank all help keep it to a relatively bearable level; just ride a T'Bird or America and you'll notice a huge difference. I've tried a few options and really prefer naked. There are a few different types of fly screen including clear and coloured ones from Triumph and you can look here and/or e-bay.
Custom sculpted flyscreens

If you possibly can, try riding a few bikes with different screens before forking out $. Just my opinion mind.

In the interest of unadulterating the thread and continuing the introduction.... I like football and ****o and books about war, I've got an average house, with a nice hardwood floor - no, wait, that's Dennis Leary.....

I've spent 20 yrs fully fared my naked friends - Japanese 4's. This is my first cruiser and I'm already addicted. I test rode a T'Bird Storm (with Hogslayers) through a tunnel at full throttle and expected to find myself wearing a cape with my underpants on the outside when I got back to the dealership......then came Rocket. I imagine that the Triumph team sat around and thought about what would happen if Chuck Norris impregnated a diesel locomotive and Rocket was the result!
