R3R throttle grip change out any info ?

I took it to the dealer they did have to remove the claw to gain access to the cables where they hook into the throttle bodies linkage to get enough slack to get the ends out. Wasn't too bad they only charged a 1/2 hour labor, which was mor than I paid for the grips! Lol but they look good.

I've changed the grips on several Rockets and never had to take the claw off??? Maybe I was doing it wrong...
