R3R Parts...

get them while you can...

I just came from the dealer and looked up 6 parts for the R3R and 4 are no longer made or stocked, he even called NA Triumph to confirm...

So what to do...

I looked at the 1600 Touring LT whatever the heck it is and some of the parts are identical...

So I ordered them and will see if it fits the R3R
 
well let me be a bit more clear...

touring seat - they had to call around to get it, was not at NA warehouse, call to NA they stated only what is left in stock
backrest - the website showed discontinued, call to NA confirmed no longer being produced
tank bid - the website showed discontinued, call to NA confirmed no longer being produced
etc. etc...

on the backrest I ordered the one that is available for the 1600, different part number but it looks exactly the same as the one for the R3.

ran through a few more part numbers and it was stuff that I did not need but might consider getting it anyway since its still available.
 
When you say backrest, I assume you are talking about the Riders Backrest - Is that right?
 
Can you provide the part number for the 1600 backrest?
I would like to look at this as I have been looking for a riders backrest for a while now.

They will be available by the 11th. I will get the part number for you it might need some persuasive adjustments to fit but the dealer said they would take it back if it does not work
 
Just bought a used one of eBay will see if they match up then we have a means to get similar backrests...
 
I've been looking on ebay but didn't see that one.
