R3 with a Boxer

Absolutely brilliant! I really like the set-up and I'll echo how well-done the work is. Welcome aboard, Captain.

Notice the Metz on the back in the photos but a car tyre on the rack. What are you running back there?

da aina bruddah!

Aloha! I grew up in Honolulu - a McKinley product (yes, it was bad then too). Kailua Beach was/is my favorite hang out and I try to windsurf there every time I am back on Oahu. I ended up on the East Coast after graduate school, and...

VERY COOL! I spent many feckless days tanning and surfing and hustling da wahine's down on Kailua and Lanikai beaches! Too good eh bra!? Hawai'i no ka oi! I still kick myself in the ass regularly for ever leaving da aina!

Went to Hawaii Pacific University and University of Hawaii @ Hilo and Manoa. Graduate studies at UHH. Police Academy on Maui (MPD). Also spent three years at the Honolulu Academy of Arts studying graphics and fine art. Not a day passes when I don't think back on the majesty and beauty and magic of the islands. Aloha bra!

Front fork question

Okay I'll bite. Why the leading link front end? Educate me. The reason I ask is I've seen a lot of trikes on the road, both Harley and Goldwing and BMW, but I've never seen one with a leading link front fork.

Here's a short primer: Leading Link Forks

You can do without one but steering will be difficult for a bike like the R3.

Welcome from Scotland. Looks great and WIDE! Al.
